Inspired by the blues of the ocean depths and the white foam of the waves these Viking beads aim to echo the dark blues through to the white wave crests that break upon a long boat bow as it cuts through the ocean’s waters on a long journey. Embellished with Lapis Lazuli, cats’ eye, ceramic and glass beads with an option of Viking runes as well as silver nickel spacer beads and spirals and boat themed charms.
 
In History Viking beads were not only seen as forms of beautiful decoration but also as a way of showing off their wealth and even more interestingly a form of rudimentary currency, as metal was a more rare substance during the viking era it has been documented that when purchasing goods vikings may break off bits of metal from their beads and use them to pay for their purchase.
 
Expose glow in the dark beads to sunlight and you will reveal that in the dark they have a mystical green glow!
